Think about your relationship
If you value your relationship, then try everything to save your relationship. If you are wrong, sometimes it is better to hide your pride and simply say I’m sorry, than to ruin everything you have and which, with time, might seem the most valuable thing you had. Many family law litigants who have gone before you suggest division, separation, or divorce may not be the only solutions for strife, especially when children are involved.
Other ways you can try to work on your relationship include: marriage counselling, personal and couples therapy, parenting or couple workshops, and mediation to try to make a structured separation work.
